A/Prof Weltman belongs to the Royal Australian College of Physicians and is accredited by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy to provide gastroscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy procedures.

Special interests include colorectal cancer screening, iron deficiency anaemia, rectal bleeding, disorders of the liver, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis).
